The natural oils that form the basis of our soaps and give our other products moisturizing properties.

Cocoa Butter

Cocoa butter is derived from the cacao bean. We use it because it creates a protective barrier on hair strands to help prevent moisture loss. Natural: yes Vegetarian: yes Vegan: yes EWG rating: 1

Castor Oil

Castor oil is pressed from the castor bean. We use it because it’s rich in ricinoleic acid, a fatty acid that acts as a humectant to draw moisture to the skin and hair. Natural: yes Vegetarian: yes Vegan: yes EWG rating: 2

Oat oil

Oat oil is produced by CO2 extraction and is rich in tocopherol, phytosterols, phospholipids and omega 6 and omega 9 fatty acids. We use it for its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and moisturizing effects. Natural: yes Vegetarian: yes Vegan: yes EWG rating: 1

Coco-Caprylate

Coco-caprylate is derived from coconut oil. We use it as a natural silicone alternative. It offers slip and shine while still being fully biodegradable. Natural: yes Vegetarian: yes Vegan: yes EWG rating: 1

Swiss Rapeseed Oil

Rapeseed oil is derived from rapeseed plants grown in Switzerland. We use it in most our soaps as it’s locally produced, high in omega 3 fatty acids and is moisturizing. Natural: yes Vegetarian: yes Vegan: yes EWG rating: 1

Shea Butter

Coconut Oil
