Simple is a shampoo bar defined more by what’s not included. No potential irritants like natural fragrance, essential oils, colourants, proteins or vitamin E. Just simple gentle cleaning.
Designed for sensitive skin and hair, the Simple shampoo bar contains nourishing shea butter and calendula oil to leave your hair and scalp moisturized after you wash.
Most hair and skincare products contain allergens like formaldehyde-releasing preservatives, cocamidopropyl betaine, parabens, or sulfates. None of our shampoos include these ingredients. But in Simple we’ve gone further by removing other potential irritants, even natural ones like essential oils and plant proteins.
Note: While we don’t use any essential oils in this shampoo bar, we do make it using the same equipment as our regular shampoo bars. We cannot promise irritants aren’t present in trace amounts, so if you have a severe allergy or intolerance, the Simple shampoo bar isn’t for you.

Ich habe mehr als zehn Jahren lang mit Furunkeln und Kofphaut Ausschlägen gekämpft. Eine Therapie mit Roaccutan hat nicht nur nichts gebracht sondern auch Schäden (sehr trockene Augen, Lippen und Nase) zugefügt. Seitdem ich die Simple benutzte, sind die Furunkeln weg. Eure Produkte sind echt toll!

The way my hair feels after using this shampoo for the first time is just brilliant. I am using brands with a sustainable approach/ vegan etc. since almost 15 years and tried many different solid shampoos so I feel I have a good sense of being able to compare. And I must say: this is a refreshingly simple but great no nonsense product I will keep using for sure. It does not produce too much foam but just enough to have that „my hair will be cleaned nicely“ feeling. After washing my hair was super easy to brush and once dried it felt healthy and robust (I have quite fine/ thin hair). So to sum it up: this shampoo will stay for good. And knowing it is produced just around the corner makes me feel even better. Bravo!

Picking a shampoo is not easy for me as I have extremely sensitive skin. I tried many shampoo bars, but none really worked for me, they would make my scalp dry and generally irritate my skin.
I have not given up on finding a good zero waste shampoo, so I was eager to try Nul Simple.
Overall, I like it. The smell is subtle but nice. Having used it mostly daily for about 10 days, my sensitive scalp handles it well, with very minor irritation. This is a big win for me!! I also like the consistency: it does not crumble, which was the case with some of the other zero waste shampoo bars I tried containing ingredients like coconut oil. Thanks to the possibility to hang it in the shower, it dries well – another huge plus. On top of the quality of the shampoo, I also like the eco-friendly packaging!

I got the simple shampoo bar and a sample of a conditioner for free. I was so happy to hear that I have the opportunity to test nul’s products and this is my honest opinion of the products. I have been wanting to test shampoo and conditioner bars for many years now, but it was always so hard to find suitable bars so I never bought one. Katie helped me to find the right bar and so far I have been really happy with the simple bar. My scalp is pretty oily due to a scalp medication, my hair is fine and slightly curly. To be honest I was a bit afraid that the bars would not clean my hair properly, or that the shampoo would be too strong. This was not the case with the simple bar and the conditioner. The shampoo bar cleans my hair and scalp very well, there was also no irritation or greasy look after the was. I was also really impressed with the conditioner bar, I really hope that you will start to sell this conditioner soon!

Meine sehr dicken Haare haben sich noch nie so leicht und luftig angefühlt. Vorher neigten meine Haare zu Trockenheit. Seit ich den Shampoo Bar benutze, gehört das der Vergangenheit an. Ausserdem brauche ich keine Stylingprodukte mehr, um meine Haare zu bändigen.

Ich habe eigentlich eine juckende Kopfhaut und Schuppen und fettiges Haar. Seitdem ich das simple benutze, ist das Jucken weg und meine Haare sind mega weich. Auch die Schuppen sind weniger geworden. Ich bin total begeistert, denn meine Haare sind lockerleicht und nicht mehr so schwer.
